CHAPTER 9

JASIEL

I pulled open my bedroom door and just as I’d sensed, Gabrielle was standing at the end of the hallway. Her energy was like a magnet to mine and I always knew when she was near without having to physically see her. Fear was in her eyes and seeing it brought a discomfort to my heart until I suddenly realized why she was out here looking like a deer caught in headlights. A smirk grew on my lips as I stepped out the doorway.

“Come here,” I mouthed and she quickly obeyed by walking toward me.

When she was in front of me, I caressed her shoulder and pressed a kiss to her forehead before stepping out the way for her to pass. She entered my dimly lit room and I looked down the vacant hallway one last time before entering after her. Once I shut the door, I wasted no time with approaching her and reaching for her waist. Her coffee brown eyes met mine and I wasn’t able to control the way my smirk grew now that I had her with me.

“Your ass got scared thinking you were about to get caught, huh?”

She pouted but remained silent and I released a light chuckle.

“Don’t you worry, pretty lady…” I let go of her waist so I could reach for the tied belt of her silk robe. “Ain’t no one about to catch you getting dicked down all night.”

Desire filled her eyes and her lips curved into a smile. I slowly untied her belt and opened her robe. The bulge in my sweats immediately grew seeing the satin material gracing her gorgeous body.

Before I could compliment her, she leaned in and pressed her lips to mine. Her hands went to the back of my neck, pulling me in close and my hands went to her robe which I quickly pulled off her small frame. Once it dropped to the floor, I grabbed her thighs and lifted each one to my shirtless torso.

I started moving with her attached to me and our kiss deepened when I pushed past the soft seal of her lips. My tongue met hers and I gave her deep, demanding strokes while carrying her over to my bed. I dropped her to the edge of the bed seconds later and ended our kiss. I stared down at her stunning face, knowing I could get lost in her eyes forever.

“You are so beautiful,” I told her, meaning it from the bottom of my heart. “And I’m so blessed to finally be able to call you mine.”

She couldn’t stop smiling and neither could I. The moment we’d both been waiting for all night was finally here and honestly, I was feeling like the luckiest mothafucker knowing that I was about to be balls deep inside the woman I loved.

I lifted her right hand and kissed the back of it, causing her whole face to glow.

“Thank you, Jas… you’re being too sweet right now.”

“Don’t tell no one,” I playfully warned her. “I’ve got a reputation to uphold.
